I normally have not cared much for vampire stories at all since reading many of the Ann Rice books years ago. But, like her books this combined elements of fantasy and sex that seemed exciting and plausible. Training a puppy to enjoy its position in life and to not be embarrassed and need to hide his constant excitement seem very interesting points for such an animal in training. rascalProduct details

A good story set in the Fate of the Fallen universe.
This says in the introduction that it's the first part of several, but it's a very satisfying installment, a quick read that reaches a nice concluding moment of these events, introduced the world in which they take place, and gives some context for a very different society.
Whether you are talking about Caleb or Liam, they have no idea what they are in for when they meet, but it leads down an interesting path.
It's darkly amusing if you don't mind dub-con verging on non-con.
I really feel like the Author was just teasing us with this one.. lol. It was way too short. Almost like right when it was getting to the really good and Super kinky Dirty parts the book just ends.

Dark and yet still sweet... Which are total opposites but I think both can describe this book.. I'm not normally one to read books about vampires but I Love Human Puppies so this was great and I found it really interesting. I liked the book itself as well as the narration and the story pulled me in from the first few sentences. First time with the narrator JJ Jenness and I thought he gave both the characters great voices. I especially liked the accent he used for Liam it was different than what I was initially expecting. I know there's a Collab book up next with another Author to finish off this story and I cannot wait to read (and listen to) it.
Loved it. Its a crazy ride, and I loved it. Looking forward to more.
Other then the fact it was a short story which to me really is like reading the first few chapters or so of a book I loved it. I need more of this story though.. there are things mentioned that still need elaborating and explaining, but it served good to set up the two characters in it.
This is a very interesting story set in an extremely fascinating world where supernatural beings have taken over and humans are basically slaves. I was drawn to both MCs right away, Liam is the strong, fierce vampire who is searching for something to amuse himself with and Caleb is a strong, bratty human who knows exactly what he wants but refuses to give in right away. I really enjoyed the dynamic between them and they're interactions with other characters . The ending was perfect.
